Rebecca's Ring of Mosaic Flowers

This large mosaic mirror was inspired by the beautiful works of Georgia O'Keeffe in the book, One Hundred Flowers. The 28" beveled glass mirror is surrounded by a ring of some of the southwest's larkspur, jasmine and petunias. The outside mosaic frame is seven inches wide at the four corners, tapering to a full five and one half inches to complete the circle.

The hand cut talavera and glazed porcelain tiles are offset by a very dark custom mix of Sable Brown and Starry Night grout. The mosaic frame is mounted with braided heavy cable to support its substantial weight and will require two wall mounts.
