Red Birds Mosaic Mirror

Mosaics meet nature in this elegant tribute to the pretty red bird. This mosaic mirror was inspired by the southeastern (!) male cardinal in flight. The deep red porcelain tiles are accentuated by the softer sage green and browns offset by a brilliant white background.

This is a two-color grouted mosaic mirror that emphasizes the form of the birds. This work was commissioned and has inspired a new mosaic in progress, the southwestern roadrunner.
