Working With Smalti
This is a 2 ft. X 2 ft. skirted** mosaic end table in the works. Note the translucent deep cobalt blue tiles, the clear adhesive and waterproof table frame. This smalti was imported from the Isle of Murano just outside of Venice, Italy. Smalti is a hand produced, highly reflective glass used in traditional mosaics.
